Camp Fire Minnesota is a youth development nonprofit organization helping young people be better stewards of their communities, their world, and themselves. With 103 wooded acres on the shores of Lake Minnewashta, Camp Fire Minnesota has programs for youth ages 3-17. With summer and school break camps, PreK-12 field trips, community-based afterschool programs, Northwoods adventure trips, and leade

rship development, there's something for everyone at Camp Fire. Camp Fire is available to rent! Contact us to discuss renting our various spaces for youth groups, weddings, retreats, team-building, and conferences/meetings. Our Grand Rapids property is also available to rent! Camp Fire Minnesota is located on the lands of the Dakota and Ojibwe people.

We wrapped up our final week of summer programming at Camp Fire with s’more great memories! Summer 2026 has been one to remember, and we have our amazing campers to thank for making it so special. 💚

We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who spent part of their summer with us. We loved making memories, enjoying nature, and exploring new things together. We hope you all have an awesome school year, and we can’t wait to see you back at Camp Fire! 💌🌅🐞

The clock is ticking! ⏰ You have two days to get your tickets to Under the Stars before sales officially close on September 3. Your participation will help us provide youth with a space where they can be their authentic selves while connecting with nature. 🌟

All of the event proceeds will go towards our programs, which focus on helping youth experience joy and belonging in the outdoors. Every dollar you spend during the evening – from the cost of your ticket to your silent auction bids – will be doubled, making your impact go twice as far!

As summer comes to a close, we're looking back at all the awesome memories youth and staff made during this year's Northwoods Adventure Trips! The wildfires may have interrupted our travel plans, but it didn't stop our campers from having fun.

In June, our young explorers got to witness the beauty of the Boundary Waters via canoe. Once the wildfires started in July, we had to pivot to protect the health of our travelers. After monitoring the air quality, we set our sights on a new destination - the Namekagon River in Wisconsin! Youth gained precious memories and outdoor skills as they paddled, portaged, and camped on this historic river.

We want to thank our staff for making travel adjustments to keep our teens safe and make these life-changing trips possible! 🚣

And just like that, our final week of overnight camp is in the books! From activity-packed mornings and cooling off in the lake, to watching the sunset and winding down with cabinmates, this summer was filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories. 🏕️🛶

We are so grateful to every camper who joined us for overnight camp this summer! You made each week so special. We hope you’re leaving with new friendships, great memories, and a little more camp magic to carry with you! 💖
