Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Welcome Home – Parent Back-to-School Night! Your presence and energy made the evening truly special. We hope you had the chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet some new ones, and celebrate the wonderful community that makes MHR so special.

A highlight of the evening was the MHR School Foundation’s presentation of a $20,000 check to Dr. Fay to help support our school’s operating costs! 🙌 This incredible gift is made possible by the generosity and continued support of our community. Together, we’re making a meaningful difference for our students, teachers, and staff.

Here’s to a wonderful school year ahead—filled with faith, joy, learning, and community!

Join us Thursday night as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year at MHR!

We’re excited to welcome back our returning families and give a special welcome to all of our new MHR families!

Come together with our school community, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new friends, and help us start the new school year off on a great note!

It’s also a wonderful opportunity to meet or reconnect with our principal, Dr. Eric Fay, and our pastor, Fr. Tom Hurley.

We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Congratulations to Mrs. Jurasits and Mrs. O'Leary on winning the Ed and Terry Keaty Joyce "I Inspire" Award!

The Ed and Teri Keaty Joyce, "I Inspire" Teacher Recognition Award is aimed to recognize the important role teachers play in the lives of children. Teachers everywhere are critical. The teachers choosing to teach in Catholic schools are extra special. In memory of Ed and Therese Keaty Joyce, "Teri", their family, and colleagues, would like to show appreciation for teachers in area Catholic schools.

Teri taught at Queen of Martyrs School. Family and friends repeatedly remember her as being a kind and caring mentor. Ed worked his way to President and COO of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He has been duly credited with the growth and success of the Chicago markets. While Ed excelled in his profession, his life was defined by his unwavering devotion to his family every single day. Their 8 grandchildren attend Most Holy Redeemer and St. John Fisher shools.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we didn’t just meet our $85K goal for the MHR Foundation… we exceeded it!

Every donation, every share, every show of support made this possible. This milestone means more resources, more impact, and more lives touched in ways that truly matter.
