Today we honor St. Anthony of Padua. Beloved preacher, faithful Franciscan, and patron saint of lost things. May his example of wisdom, humility, and devotion to Christ inspire us to seek what truly matters.

Exciting news from Abode for Children!

Our founder, Tom Rutkoski, was inspired to start Abode for Children after witnessing countless children around the world with no one to care for them. He was deeply committed to Catholic works of charity and the teachings of our Lord, who commanded us to care for widows and orphans.

James 1:27: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”

Visit their page to learn more about Tom's legacy and help us continue to bring hope to children in dire circumstances. 🙏❤️

We are excited to announce Abode for Children's new logo!

Our new logo reflects our Catholic identity and the love, care, and faith-based education at the core of our mission. Inspired by an image of St. Anne teaching Mary, the logo symbolizes nurturing and guidance.

This redesign will strengthen our presence in print and online, supporting Abode for Children's growth and outreach while highlighting our commitment to Catholic Christian values.

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and faithful support. Look for our new logo as we introduce it over the coming weeks. 🙏❤️

Today we celebrate Saints Primus & Felician. Brothers in faith and martyrs who remained steadfast in their love for Christ even in the face of persecution. Their courage, fidelity, and witness remind us that true strength is found in faithfulness.

Sts. Primus & Felician, pray for us.

As the one-day retreat on August 1 is approaching, we are looking forward to being able to share in it with Bishop Joseph Strickland, whom we are blessed to have joining us throughout the day and ministering to us in such ways as leading us in the Rosary, celebrating The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and giving an inspiring talk during the day.

Bishop Joseph Edward Strickland, founder of Pillars of Faith, is a successor of the Apostles whose life and ministry are marked by a profound fidelity to Jesus Christ. Grounded in prayer, devoted to the Holy Eucharist and to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and committed to the salvation of souls, Bishop Joseph E. Strickland has served the Church for over four decades as a priest, pastor, teacher, and bishop. Now Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Tyler, he continues his apostolic mission with an even larger flock – shepherding souls across the nation and beyond with truth, courage, and unwavering fidelity to Christ. Founder of PillarsofFaith.net.
