And last but certainly not least meet our PTO Vice President:

Hi my name is Kate, I’m 43 and I have 4 kiddos. 2 full grown, 2 at home. We moved here from NY 7 years ago for fresh air and space and we found it in Etowah. I’m still not used to the heat and probably never will be. I’m built for winter 😂. I was an office manager back home, here I’m doing the mom thing until something comes along that fits the kids schedule. My husband is a truck driver and is only home about 5 days a month so I keep the house working while he’s gone. Last year was our first year in the district and I cannot wait to lend my talents and pizazz to whatever endeavors are planned. I was a PTO president when my son was in school in NY and we had so much fun I can’t wait to help out here ❤️

Introducing our PTO Secretary:

Hi! I’m Charity Goines, PTO Secretary. I am a wife, mom and ECS custodian!

My husband is Dusty Goines, we have been together for 10 years. We have 3 amazing children. (Henley 7 -1st grader ,Harlin 3 - Wee Warrior and Harvie 1)

I enjoy doing balloon art, planning parties, and anything DIY! My kids and I also love spending as much time as we can at the pool!

I’m apart of PTO to help give back to ECS. This will be my 2nd school year working at ECS. I can see they put so much work and love towards all of children that I want to do what I can to show my appreciation towards them! I’m looking forward to my 1st year as Secretary!

Introducing our PTO president:

Hey everyone! My name is Ashley Dodson, and I am honored to serve as your PTO President for this school year!

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Paul, for 13 years, and together we’re raising our three amazing kids who keep life fun and busy:
❤️ Amari – 14 years old and a freshman
🤍 Avery – 9 years old and in 4th grade
❤️ Bodie – 2 years old

When I’m not busy with my family, I’m the Library Teacher at ECS, which makes this school even more special to me!

In my free time, I love crafting, spending time with my family, being a goofball, and singing at the top of my lungs—even if it doesn’t sound all that great! 🎶😂

I decided to join the PTO because I truly love ECS. This school has been such a blessing to my family, and I wanted the opportunity to give back in any way I can. I’m excited to work alongside our amazing PTO team, school staff, and families to help make this an incredible year for our students.

I can’t wait to meet everyone, get to know more of our ECS families, and work together to make this a fun and successful school year. Thank you for allowing me to serve as your PTO President! ❤️🤍

Introducing out PTO Treasurer:

Hi! I’m Christie Brinkley, PTO Treasurer. I am a wife, mom and business owner.

My husband is Cody Hiefnar, we have been together for 13 years. I have 4 beautiful children (Ryder 15-Sophmore, Maverick 9-4th grade, Connor 7-2nd grade and Laiken 6-1st grade).

I am a Tennessee licensed massage therapist and owner of Therapeutic Arts Massage here in Etowah. We also have Smooth Moves Smoothie Shop located next to Code:Fitness. I also LOVE to party plan, specifically children’s birthdays.

We are active members at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church in Madisonville, where we also help with the youth.

I chose to be part of the PTO to give back to ECS. This school has been a special part of my life since I started here in kindergarten. Being able to show them my appreciation for helping our children grow is my why. I’m looking forward to my 4th year helping out as treasurer. ♥️
