It’s the Spotlight you have been waiting on. In May of 2020, the first Victory Talk hit the streams and for the next two years it was the “go to” on the social media stream for many of us that followed the show.

But in December of 2022, the last show streamed and we that followed the show were left asking “What happened to Victory Talk and when will it return?

This Friday February 5th, these questions and more with be asked and hopefully answered. Join us the Friday on the VLF Nation YouTube channel @ the new streaming time of 7am, when host J. Anthony Spencer will talk to Lady J and Key, the ladies of Victory Talk

Finally, Sandy Johnson’s Have a Heart 2 Help would like the following companies/persons that provided donations that enabled us to meet the (food giveaway) goals of the Share the Warmth Giveaway.

First, we would like to thank the Courtyard Marriot McHenry Row. Our brother George Hutcheson connected us with the management there with their representative, Sherrah Smith. Through that connection we collected 37 Butterball Turkeys.

The corporate offices of Geresbeck’s provided a financial donation, for which we are grateful. The corporate offices of Redner’s provided gift cards that helped fill out the “fixins” for the Christmas dinner setups. Finally, our own Dina Coleman-Reed also provided dinner rolls for both the giveaway and our December support for (Churches for) Streets of Hope. We could not have met the goal without any of mentioned.

H2H was at the 29th St. Community Center for its "Feeding Our Neighbors" event on Tuesday December 16, 2025. H2H continues its "Share The Warmth" initiative and gifted 42 coats to attended. Tyrell Gibson, the organizer of the event gifted 24 bikes to the young attendees. H2H and Tye would like to thank Vivian Smith and Panetta Spencer of VLF and R&J House of Harvest for stopping by to support the event. Employees of MedStar also supported the event. Today (12/15/25) H2H was back at it again.
"Spence" first delivery boxes of coat for FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS, happening tomorrow night at the 29th Community Center located at 305 29th St. in Baltimore, MD. Then it was out to the Reisterstown/Owings Mills area where he dropped off a box of coats to Cedarmere Elementary School. He is pictured with Eric Cromwell, the Community Facilitator.

It was another productive H2H day, as J. Anthony Spencer hit the road early making the first delivery to Barclay Elementary/Middle School in the Waverly area of Baltimore City. Seen here with Darrell Jefferies, the Community Schools Coordinator. “I’m sure this will not be the last time that we have interaction with Barclay.”

Then heading to Essex, “Spence” made another stop at Essex Elementary, where after dropping off another group of children coats, the school made a donation of adult sized coats. Thanks again Danielle Raut.

Leaving the elementary school it was back to the storage unit where he and Jeff pulled coats for three more locations. “Spence” delivered coats to Oakleigh Elementary where one of our young members (Jackson Gibson) is a student. He is seen here with School Core Liaison, Maritza.

Jeff delivered coats to a Teamsters chapter and another delivery to CLJC Life Center.

So on my morning walk Monday morning, I was thinking how H2H could bless families for the upcoming Christmas day. So while I was sitting at my desk Monday night on a phone call, and I see the call come through from Baltimore’s un-official Mayor, George Hutcheson. I click over to tell him I will have to call him back when he drops a “Blessing Bombshell”. He has a connection; (he has many) that may be willing to donate turkeys to us. Needless, to say I did not click back over right away because the wheels began to turn over it my head.

To make a long story short, and good to his word George met us at Courtyard Marriott/McHenry Row today, where we met an angel named Sherrah Smith. Ms. Smith and the Marriott blessed us with 37 Butterball Turkeys. This donation will enable us to feed several families for the Christmas season. In fact, we were able to donate/bless Pastor Fidel Kisic and the CLJC Life Center of Glen Burnie, MD. CLJC Life Center made the valiant attempt at feeding 1000 souls during Thanksgiving. Maybe with this donation he can make that number (combined) for the 2025 Holiday Season.

Again, thanks Mayor Hutcheson and Ms. Sherrah Smith. Proof, that there are still good people in the world.
