Erie UpLink is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization committed to connecting Erie families with resources to fulfill their basic life needs, including connecting Erie families with opportunities to be of service to one another. Our MOTTO is "see a need, fill a need." Our MISSION is to connect Erie families with resources to fulfill their basic life needs. As many of you know, this year, we launched our new Adopt-a-Shelf Program to help fill some important gaps in our Tiger Packs food supply—and the response reminded us once again just how generous the Erie community is.

Businesses and families stepped forward to “adopt” specific items, helping us make sure we had plenty on hand as we prepared hundreds of Tiger Packs for local students.

We want to give another BIG shoutout to our wonderful 2026 Adopt-a-Shelf Sponsors:

Do you know that by completing the Education Benefit Form for families who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch, there are many advantages for registered students and their schools? 🍽️🏫
Family Benefits to Submitting an Education Benefits Form:
● School program fees are waived.
● After-school program fees are waived.
● Preschool programs fees are waived.
● SAT and ACT tests and college application fees are reduced.
● Access to community food banks services are available.
● Discounts on utilities and internet service are available.
● Discounts for participation in community groups like sports or YMCA programs are available.

There’s nothing better than seeing our office FULL of people coming together to serve their community. 💛

Our recent Tiger Pack packing event brought together so many wonderful groups of volunteers who gave their time and energy to turn shelves of food into hundreds of complete Tiger Packs, ready to support local students throughout the upcoming semester.

Our volunteers unpacked food, organized items, formed assembly lines, filled bags, packed completed Tiger Packs into boxes, and helped us get everything organized and ready to store for future distributions. 📦🥣🍎

It takes a lot of hands to make this program happen—and thankfully, we had plenty! 🙌 Our office was busy, a little crowded, and filled with laughter, teamwork, and the kind of energy that reminds us just how special this community is.

Thank you to every volunteer and group who showed up ready to work and serve others. You didn’t just help us pack food—you helped us prepare to care for Erie students and families all semester long. 💛

It’s time to celebrate the impact you’ve made! During the months of June and July, Erie UpLink’s Tiger Packs Program earned enough to fill 35 Tiger Packs in the King Soopers Fight Hunger bag program. We are thankful for our partnership with King Soopers and all who purchased a Fight Hunger Shopping Bag this summer.

ALLO Fiber in Erie went the extra mile this summer to collect 150 jars of Peanut Butter and purchase 150 jars of jelly to match for Erie UpLink’s Labor Day Tiger Packs. We are so grateful for everyone who participated- from spreading the word (and the love) to dropping off jars of Peanut Butter at the ALLO storefront on Briggs Street. Nothing says “back-to-school” like PB&J, thank you ALLO and Erie.
