📣 Friday Eve Recap 📣

It isn’t August anymore with regular season soccer games going Bye Bye Baby.

Saturday the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ and the ‘Sharks’ played The Last Time against each other this season at Enon Park while the ‘Green Giants’ played a Mean game On the Property of the Greenon School campus against a visiting team.

Sunday was a game for Only the Young with the last dribblers game for 2026.

Monday the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ were Ready for It and saw Sparks Fly in their last game.

Tuesday saw a Love Story between the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ and the ‘Golden Pirates’ and there was no Bad Blood between the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ and a traveling kinders.

Thursday the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ and ‘Golden Pirates’ determined that Its Nice to Have a Friend’ in their last game.

The end of the 2026 Enon SAY regular season will Forever & Always be a Superstar and Sweeter than Fiction season.

But are you Ready for It? Tournaments are this weekend. It’s Time to Go to A Place in This World where Kittyhawk SAY teams converge for a weekend of soccer game brackets.

We wish the ‘Green Eggs and Ham’, Red Passers, ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’, Red Wings, ‘Green Beans’, ‘Red Hot Habaneros’ and the ‘Green Giants’ Safe & Sound traveling and have the best game in your Wildest Dreams.

As Closure to the 2026 season, there will be a separate post coming soon about our end of the year awards, but mark down your calendars for 10/31 for a Haunted gathering. ❤️⚽️

📣 Friday Recap 📣

As soccer games are winding down the energy on the field keeps on trucking along.

Saturday saw a devil-may-care matchup between the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ and the ‘Green Giants’ with both of their furthest adversaries. The ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ another a carefree game against their nearest raiders while the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ and ‘Golden Pirates’ played their happy-go-lucky hearts out.

Tuesday had lighthearted matchups between the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ and the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ and the ‘Sharks’ and ‘Golden Pirates’ while across town the ‘Green Giants’ had a palsy-walsy matchup with a traveling team. The ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ traveled themselves and were unflappable in their matchup.

Thursday the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ were quite neighborly with their visiting team while the field next door hosted Enon agains Enon with the ‘Sharks’ taking on the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ in a comradely matchup.

Sunday had the littlest munchkins of the Blue and Green Dribblers having a ball on the field getting their game on in an exhilarating matchup. (Technical difficulties apologies… pictures out of order, therefore day write up also out of order… these will be at the end)

Our time is quickly coming to an end for our hail-fellow-well met soccer games and Friday recaps. We have just a few more electrifying games and then SAY tournaments begin.

📣 Never fear the Friday recap is here 📣

Saturday brought sunshine and sparkles to the fields with the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ traveling to nearby lands for their first away game. The ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ were no less shimmery on the home field at Enon Park against their opponents. The ‘Red Hot Habaneros’ (previously wrongly mentioned as Red Hot jalapeños) twinkled warmly against the ‘Green Beans’ with Enon against Enon.

Monday brought the glistening ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ traveling to nearby lands to another hard-fought battle.

Tuesday the ‘Green Giants’ traveled to the same lands that the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ had just ventured to the night before and tried not to combust on the field.

Wednesday night brought Enon against Enon again with the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles against the ‘Sharks’ and the ‘Golden Pirates’ against the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’. All four teams radiated joy and razzle-dazzle. The Red Passers also played at home beaming against their traveling opponent. The ‘Green Giants’ traveled again and illuminated the field against their adversaries in their best yet played game.

Thursday at Enon Park we had the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ streaking across the field playing against their most played-against opponents. On the field next door the ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ flashed their brilliance against nearby raiders.

It’s fall ya’ll and hopefully the weather continues to provide soccer sunbeams and not be lackluster.

📣 Friday Recap 📣

Just when you think things are drying out Mother Nature decided to say “hold my water bottle.”

While not rainy at Enon Park, Saturday was an overcast matchup between the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ and the ‘Golden Pirates.’ The Red Passers also hosted incoming travelers surviving the murky conditions. While the ‘Green Eggs & Ham’ traveled themselves, the conditions were no less dull and hazy.

Monday progressed to downright bleak conditions for both the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ and the ‘Green Beans’ who traded playing soccer for water polo during their traveling adventures. The ‘Golden Pirates’ and the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ came out dryer than expected, even with their slightly squishy home field conditions.

Tuesday was a cheerless grey evening for the ‘Green Giants’ who played their third tough game in a row against incoming travelers.

Wednesday threatened to be misty, but only ended up being cloudy for the once again score for score matchup between the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ and their traveling adversaries. The ‘Green Eggs & Ham’ also battled through the overclouded conditions on the neighboring field with a nearby visiting team.

Thursday brought the only two radiant and sunshiny games this week with matchups between the ‘Golden Pirates’ and the ‘Sharks’ with the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ and ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ next-door. Let’s hope we are on the clear path for more brilliant (&dry) games next week.

📣 Friday Recap 📣

Saturday saw a wet and wild matchup between the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ and the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’. The ‘Red Hot Jalapeños’ took on invaders in an equally drenching game.

Monday the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ traveled to a distant land earning their sweaty name in a neck and neck battle to the final whistle.

Tuesday saw busy busy busy action at Enon Park as the ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ and the Red Passers took on encroachers in neighboring fields. Across the park, the Blue Kinders faced the ‘Sweaty Strawberries’ and the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ battled it out with nearby raiders. At the Greenon School complex, the ‘Green Giants’ (formerly Lily’s Allergies) left it all on the field in a back to back rematched battle with marauders. Jury remains out on if more water was left on the fields from the Rain on Saturday or the Sweat on Tuesday.

Wednesday a blink and you’ll miss it game occurred between the Blue Kinders and the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ as Mother Nature decided the fields needed more rain than sweat.

Thursday the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ once again lived up to their sweaty title in another definitely warmish traveling game to neighboring lands.

📣 Friday Recap 📣

This week was a busy week for Enon SAY soccer teams.

Over the weekend ‘The Golden Pirates’ took on a traveling voyager team while the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ played local against the Blue Kinders.

On Tuesday our oldest SAY players from ‘Lily’s Allergies’ traveled to a far away land for a tough battle while the ‘Sweaty Crocodiles’ stayed local against another globetrotter team keeping the score close.

Wednesday evening saw a match between the ‘Wild Fartin’ Crocodiles’ and ‘The Golden Pirates’. The Red Kinders also took on traveling wayfarers next to the fierce battle between Crocs and Pirates.

Thursday evening brought in rain drops and fun between the ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ and traveling nomads.
