The Dash is back! The National Federation of the Blind of Colorado's Six Dot Dash Sponsored by Waymo will be on Saturday, September 12 this year, and we want you to be there! Whether you can do a 5k in your sleep or the only professional running you have done is from the fridge to the couch, this event is for you! From a virtual option so you can participate anywhere in the world to our fundraiser campaign where you could run for free, and let's not forget our Blind Beer Tasting and this year's all new Braille Block Party Carnival!

Today is the day! Visit our booth at the Englewood Block Party!
From 4 to 10 p.m., the 3400 block of South Broadway will transform into a festival celebrating the unique spirit of our city.
Bring the whole family to enjoy live music, incredible food trucks, local vendor shopping, kids activities and the local bars and restaurants.

Help us name a seeing eye dog 🐶
The Englewood Lions Club has donated over $5,000 to the Seeing Eye Inc. in Morristown, New Jersey, over the years. In recognition of our donations, we have the distinguished honor of naming a puppy for an upcoming graduate from their school. We’re having a contest for the best puppy name. Put your thinking caps on! Starting now, and running through September 1, 2026, we’ll be taking your submissions. One name submission is a donation of $1. We participate in Lions International Recycle for Sight program by collecting used eyeglasses. The eyeglasses are then processed by the Colorado Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center (COLERC) and provided free to people in need around the world.

We hold our meetings at Café 180 and are loving it! CAFE 180 is a restaurant where 100% of the proceeds from your meal go directly toward feeding those who are experiencing food insecurity. They have been serving the Englewood community for over 15 years. Stop in and give them a try!
