Meet Courtney Stamatkin, PT, and Michelle Morris, OT, two members of our Acute Therapies COVID Special Ops team at Swedish. The Special Ops team was developed in response to the initial surge of COVID patients, designating physical therapists and occupational therapists to the COVID unit to offer guidance and support. Today, Courtney was invited to attend the State of the State at the capitol and meet with Governor Jared Polis to share her unique insight on working on the frontlines throughout the COVID pandemic, "I had no idea what to expect going to this event, but it gave me a chance to reflect on this last year. I am so proud of our department for stepping up in so many ways."
