May is Cancer Awareness Month for Melanoma, Skin, Brain, and Bladder Cancers 💛
This month, we honor those impacted, raise awareness, and continue the conversation around prevention, early detection, and support.
🎗️ Melanoma
Melanoma is one of the most serious forms of skin cancer—but when detected early, the 5-year survival rate is about 99%.
☀️ Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, with more cases diagnosed each year than all other cancers combined.
🧠 Brain Cancer
Symptoms of brain tumors can often be subtle at first—like headaches, vision changes, or difficulty concentrating—which is why early attention to changes matters. There are over 120 different types of brain tumors, making diagnosis and treatment highly complex and individualized.
🚻 Bladder Cancer
Bladder cancer is one of the few cancers where an early sign—blood in the urine—is often visible and should never be ignored.
