Lanai joined 19 million students in 115 countries participating in the 2023 Great Kindness Challenge. We hope your students were able to share about their fun filled week.

Due to Lanai's participation in The Great Kindness Challenge, we are pleased to announce that Lanai is a Kindness Certified School.

A very special thanks to Geneva Somoza, Alicia Savas, Elly Yonan, Ola Bant, Tiffany Jones, and Suzy Robbins. Thank you for making such a positive difference at our school, in our community, and in our world. We are so grateful for YOU!

The Great Kindness Challenge Butterfly Mural “Spread Your Wings of Kindness” 🦋

Lanai is proudly participating in The Great Kindness Challenge, a week-long nationwide program dedicated to creating a culture of kindness and compassion. Our goal this week on campus is to perform as many acts of kindness as possible. To help our students practice kindness and put their compassion into action, they will receive a Great Kindness Challenge checklist on Monday. Additionally, they will participate in a daily activity that promotes kindness.

In the 2021-2022 school year, 110 countries, 36 thousand schools and 18 million students participated in The Great Kindness Challenge. Lanai is proud to be one of these schools and is looking forward to participating in this meaningful initiative again this year.

Together, we will lift each other up, cheer each other on and show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS!
