The Incredible Ely kiosk has been refreshed for another year, and we’re excited for everyone to enjoy it throughout the summer season.

Today’s Spring Cleanup Tip of the Day ♻️🌱

Not sure what counts as hazardous waste? Here are a few common items you can bring to drop-off days:

• Paint & paint products
• Automotive fluids & grease
• Cooking oils (like deep fryer oil)
• Pesticides
• Aerosol cans
• Rechargeable batteries
• Household cleaners & chemicals
• Fluorescent bulbs & tubes
• Mercury items
• Adhesives
• Lead items (like fishing sinkers)

Taking the time to dispose of these properly helps protect our lakes, wildlife, and community 💚

Thank you to Brooks for coming out and helping Kate with Incredible Ely clean up the recycling and softball area—so appreciated!

We also had volunteers out with Friends of the Trees of Ely, mulching and caring for our green spaces 🌱, and others joined the Ely Climate Group for a cleanup along the Trezona.
