We celebrate the BIPOC q***r folks who came before us and paved the way for us to get where we are. However we must remember their history and the challenges they faced and that it should not be erased. This month we honor and remember all Black History and their steps towards today. But there are many challenges they still face and all the injustices towards the BIPOC community. We must stand with our BIPOC friends and family and honor their past and look towards the future!

Our mission statement!

The purpose of Vermilion Community College Gay Straight Alliance Club is to provide a strong, supportive community on and off campus to increase awareness and acceptance, as well as to provide information regarding LGBTQ+ issues and culture. The club will provide an outlet for current students, staff and community members, and attempt to strengthen links to the community regardless of race, sexual orientation, or gender.
