Thinking about financing for your business? Getting organized ahead of time can make the process feel a lot less overwhelming. đź“‹

Before reaching out, it can help to have:

âś… Recent financial information so you have a clear picture of where your business stands.
✅ A plan for the funds — whether you're purchasing equipment, adding inventory, expanding, or covering another business need.
âś… Your next step in mind. Think about what the financing would help your business accomplish and what that growth could look like.

You don't need to have every detail figured out before starting the conversation. RNDC can help you explore financing options available to eligible Nevada small businesses.

Before your heating system starts working overtime this winter, a few simple checks can help you get ready for colder weather. ❄️

🔧 Check the filter: A dirty filter can restrict airflow and make your system work harder.
🔧 Clear your vents: Make sure furniture, rugs, or other items aren't blocking registers and vents.
🔧 Test the thermostat: Turn the heat on before you really need it and make sure your system responds as expected.
🔧 Check your detectors: Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries if needed.

If you notice something that may need more than routine maintenance, RNDC's Weatherization Assistance Program may be able to help eligible households with certain energy-efficiency improvements: rndcnv.org/weatherization

Colder nights are on the way, making now a good time for a quick check around the house. 🍂

A few places to look:

âś…Windows and doors: Feel for drafts around seals and edges.
âś…Heating vents: Make sure they aren't blocked by furniture, rugs, or other items.
âś…Attic access: Look for obvious gaps or areas where insulation may be missing.

Also pay attention to rooms that consistently feel colder than the rest — uneven temperatures can be a clue that your home is losing heat somewhere.

If you notice issues that go beyond a simple DIY fix, RNDC's Weatherization Assistance Program may be able to help eligible households identify energy-efficiency improvements: mdcnv.org/weatherization

Business growth doesn't always happen on a perfect timeline. 🇺🇸

An equipment replacement, a larger-than-expected order, or an opportunity to expand can create a need for capital sooner than you planned.
