Sow Many Blessings is an Illinois Chapter of Crochet for Cancer, a non-profit organization of Christian volunteers making and donating hand crafted items to cancer centers for patients coping with illness and recovery. Items that can be donated:

Crocheted or Knitted Chemo Beanies
Prayer Shawls
Scarves
Lap Blankets
Blankets
Walker/Wheelchair Caddies
Slippers
PICC line covers
Our donators are creat

ive and have come up with wonderful items that are not on this list. Chapter Supplies that can be donated:

Gift cards for chapter supplies (Joann’s, Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels)
Visa gift cards to ship packages at USPS. The facilities that we currently donate to regularly are:

Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Chicago in Zion
Northwestern Gavers Breast Center in Crystal Lake


Please note: All items donated will be given freely to people undergoing treatment for cancer and Hospice care. All items and/or gift cards donated to Sow Many Blessings are not tax deductible at this time as Sow Many Blessings does not hold a Federal 501(c)(3) tax exempt status… so please think of this as a donation to help us uplift those fighting this terrible disease."

❤️Good afternoon, SMB members!❤️

We have been thinking deeply about expanding our mission.
Alongside supporting cancer centers, we feel called to reach even more people who are in need of comfort and care.

Women’s shelters, homeless shelters, and hospice facilities all serve individuals walking through incredibly difficult seasons in their lives — and their need for warmth, dignity, and handmade comfort is just as great.

As we continue to grow, we hope to include these organizations in our outreach so that your beautiful donations can touch even more lives.

Your kindness makes this possible, and we are grateful for every stitch, every share, and every act of love you pour into this mission.
