We never know from one Saturday to the next how we may be needed. Today, we had 2 kids come in after their parents were already in here shopping. I noticed right away the little boy was crying. After talking to him and trying to figure out what was wrong, his sister said “I accidentally hit him in the head with the car door.” Shelly and I immediately assessed him and sprung into action. He had a bump on the side of his head that was starting to swell. I went to the freezer and found something to make an ice pack with. Sister never left his side. They were both crying by this time. So we consoled them both and reassured Sister that he was going to be just fine. They stopped crying. And not long after that they started playing together. And after their parents finished shopping, both Brother and Sister left HAPPY with Bibles, books and teddy bears in hand that we had found for them.

Collards and turnips straight from the garden were available for our customers at our clothing ministry (Angels Attic) on Saturday 1/17/26. A great time was had by all and one of our garden ministry volunteers even cooked collard sandwiches complete with fatback for us to enjoy as well! Huge thanks to Owens Farms for supplying our produce again!
