Typically the yellow shirts and hats are up and down Washington and Monroe. But this week we branched out to the Village Park for some clean up around the trees and the park sign. We also planted some perennials around the trees that will eventually fill in and complete the looks of the tree mounds.

At the end of work on planting day, the Alley Katz have our biggest member meeting of the year. We could choose anywhere to go for this annual meeting but we always choose Dina‘s. They make a beautiful brunch spread. But we choose Dina‘s because they so graciously take care of us on a weekly basis throughout the season with coffee and ice cold water when we finish working Tuesday mornings. Thank you, Dina‘s!

Doing something previously undone and kind of experimental in the village today! We decided that the flower basket hooks should be utilized during the winter too! Today a small group got together to assemble and hang decor on several hooks on Washington. If all goes well, we’ll expand this next year. Let us know what you think!!
