A huge thank you to the Twin Rivers Council, Scouting America for coordinating, and the FASNY Museum of Firefighting and all the wonderful volunteers for hosting/sponsoring a fantastic Fire Safety Merit Badge workshop yesterday! 🚒🔥

Our scouts learned so much and had a great time exploring the museum. We truly appreciate the support and the opportunity! ⚜️

Big news! Due to high demand, we’ve increased capacity for our Fire Safety Merit Badge Day at the FASNY Museum , now capped at 100 Scouts (up from 75)!

During our last meeting, Pack 28 Cubs worked hard to decorate these pop-up Christmas cards. This morning 3 Troop 28 scouts hand delivered them to members of our community who were spending their Christmas in the inpatient ward of Ellenville hospital. Their smiles said it all—a beautiful reminder that even th e simplest acts of kindness and service can bring great joy.

Troop 28 Scouts and families and some dedicated Pack 28 cubs were out and about in Ellenville and Napanoch today. We went door to door collecting food for our local food pantry.
So far this morning the Scouts and volunteers from Ellenville United Methodist Church sorted and counted 3,016 items donated by our community to help those in need! Thank you!

Our Scouts have been out in force this morning, all over Ellenville and Napanoch, putting up door hangers for our annual Scouting for Food event, which serves to help stock the food pantry at the United Methodist Church here in Ellenville. Unfortunately, we ran out before we were able to reach our entire community. Please, help us spread the word. On Sat, November 8, the Scouts will be out again to collect donations for the local food pantry. If you didn’t receive a yellow door hanger, please text the number from the one shown in the photo and let us know where we should pick up your donation. Thank you for your support!

On Saturday, 6 members of Ellenville Troop 28 and and some awesome supportive parents ventured out to the Mt Tremper fire tower. It was a hot, steep, hard climb for our novice hikers, but every last one rose to the challenge.
