We had a beautiful weekend of spiritual study and reflective nature walks as Ma Mokshapriya led us on a journey into the soul. We dove deep into St. Theresa of Avila’s work, The Interior Castle, journaling as we reflected on each “mansion” in the castle. We had perfect weather and a colorful landscape for our nature walks as the leaves are changing. It was great to see some new and old faces - it was a soul family reunion!!

Our Joy of Movement Retreat w/ Ma Mokshapriya & Yasmar Cruz was soooooo much FUN!! Mokshapriya discussed the importance of JOY, we discussed types of self-care to find pockets of joy throughout our day. Yasmar guided us through two vinyasa yoga classes, taught us two choreographies and had us create our own dance phrases using the elements of dance. We even had a dance party in the gazebo at night!

It’s been a while since we’ve had a silent meditation retreat, and this was such a wonderful experience for all that we will make sure to have them regularly! We locked up all electronic devices and were silent for 24 hours, and it was easier to disconnect than most of us expected (even the teenagers!!). We spent the silent time being alone in nature, meditating, chanting, hiking and reading spiritual books. We all received a small journal and Mataji’s book “A Spiritual Message.”
