Another great Car Clinic Saturday, we had one can of worms car that took 6 hours to fix, high pressure steering hose and 3 rusty brake lines plus a brake hose but was able to get everything fixed and the customer was so grateful, thank you Lord for our Faithful volunteers

I love this Car Clinic picture, it was from 2007 when we first moved into our home, we would fix 4-5 cars at a time, now after 21 years we are booked solid until September 2027 we can not ever catch up, we need someone to provide a shop for us so our wait list is not so crazy, thank you Lord for your faith fullness all of these years.

This is a wonderful ministry that was started in 2011 by Brian and Ruth Boardley, they came up with a brilliant plan to come beside the single mom‘s retreat in Alexandria where every year for two days they would do safety inspections and car repair repairs, Brian and Ruth would raise money and pay for the parts to bless them, I was a part of this for a few years in charge of one of the repair shops and then four years ago Brian and Ruth handed this Ministry over to Michelle and I and it has started to really explode into something beautiful, for the last two years the Lord has raised over $30,000 which goes to repair the cars with brakes and suspension parts and brand new tires, every year our volunteer list grows and this year we have 125 volunteer scheduled, so I’m excited to see what the impact will be, it is two very hard days of labor and the mechanics work late into the night but the volunteers have such a good attitude, we have two repair shops and one vacuum station where every car gets vacuumed, windows washed, and the interior wiped down, another area where fluids are topped off, belts and hoses are checked, and lightbulbs are replaced as needed, we have a team moving cars from different locations and we have five different Parts runners Just running into town for Parts nonstop to help keep the flow going, it has been such a blessing working alongside everyone and watching the Lord love on everyone and take care of everyone’s needs, but it is such an honor not only to be used by the Lord but to carry on the legacy that Brian and Ruth Boardley started back in 2011, all glory goes to God.

Hey FB friends
We are looking for folks to support this great Ministry, many of you know that Michelle and I have been doing The Car Clinic car repair ministry now for 21 years, one Saturday a month out of our home we fix cars for free labor for those that are in need plus they all get breakfast or lunch depending on what time they are at their appointment, over the last 21 years I would guess we have help close to 1700 families, we have also been involved for the last 9 years in a yearly Single Moms Retreat at Lake Geneva Christian Center in Alexandria Minnesota where for two days straight while the single moms are at the retreat and being pampered and get a chance to get away from every day life we give all of their cars a full inspection and fix any worn parts on the vehicle including new tires to full suspension depending on the time and the finances available, we raise money all year for this so 100% of the parts installed are paid for and the single mom’s can relax knowing the car is safe.

Last year we processed 120 cars and were able to repair 71 cars, installed 70 brand new tires and a ton of brand new parts including struts, shocks, ball joints, tie, rods, radiators, wheel bearings etc. 4 years ago Michelle and I was given the leadership to take over this retreat, it is a lot of work organizing over 100 volunteers but it is such a blessing to work with such great volunteers and to bless these single moms, please consider donating financially for a tax donation or volunteering as we need so many volunteers to pull this off, we need mechanics, Vacuum volunteers as every car gets vacuumed, lightbulb and fluid checkers, people to move cars from station to station plus more, any questions please reach out to me otherwise thank you for your consideration and support. Please note we are running all of the funds through The Car Clinic so everyone can get a tax donation plus there’s three different ways to give. Please check out the flyer. The dates are Friday May 29th and Saturday May 30th. Tim & Michelle

Help The Car Clinic reach their goal by donating or sharing with your friends.
