💙🩷 As we wrap up National Diaper Need Awareness Week, we are celebrating something BIG! 🩷💙
United for Baby is incredibly grateful to the City of Camden, Kershaw County, Representative Derek Shoemake, and South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster for recognizing National Diaper Need Awareness Week and supporting our efforts through official proclamations.
These proclamations are more than pieces of paper. They help shine a light on a very real need affecting families across our communities: diapers are a basic necessity, yet too many families struggle to afford enough to keep their babies clean, dry, healthy, and comfortable.
Every signature helps us raise awareness. Every conversation helps reduce the stigma surrounding diaper need. And every community that stands with us helps remind families that they are seen, valued, and supported.
As National Diaper Need Awareness Week comes to a close, our work certainly does not. United for Baby will continue showing up, building partnerships, distributing essentials, advocating for families, and working toward a South Carolina where every baby has access to the basics they need to thrive.
To our local and state leaders: thank you for using your voices and your offices to help bring greater awareness to diaper need. And to our donors, volunteers, partners, and supporters, thank you for standing alongside us every single day. 💕👶🏽
