This free event is open to the public and connects jobseekers with community employers, educators, trainers, and community resource providers showcasing career and vocational opportunities. Plus, jobseekers can get a free professional headshot while they're there. 📸

Access to meaningful employment regardless of background is a powerful tool for lasting stability. We hope to see you there!

People Power Respect is now opening up opportunities for volunteers who need documented community-service hours.

If you need hours for court, probation, diversion, school, or another requirement, we may be able to put you to work doing real service in the community.

That could include helping with outreach, food distribution, sleeping-bag or hygiene-kit distribution, donation sorting, event setup and cleanup, community projects, and other nonprofit work.

We will track and verify the hours you actually complete and provide signed documentation through People Power Respect, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

If your hours are court-ordered or required by another agency, it is still your responsibility to make sure they will accept the placement.

This is not about checking a box. If you need community-service hours, come serve the community with us and make those hours mean something.

NEED A LITTLE HELP
CONNECTING SOME DOTS.

People Power Respect has around 60 sleeping bags we’re getting ready to distribute to people who are houseless. We’ll be taking quite a few into Oklahoma City, but I want to make sure we take care of our own hometown first. I would like to get these out before it starts getting cold in the next few months…

I’m trying to get in touch
with someone connected to:

• The Salvation Army of El Reno
• Shepherd’s House
/ First Baptist Church El Reno
• Youth & Family Services

If you work with one of these organizations, know somebody who does, or can tag the right person in the comments, please do.
