Please join us in welcoming this years Department of Oklahoma President, Donna Snodgrass.

A special message from Donna -

It is both a privilege and an honor to serve as your Department President. This year, my theme is “We are Family”

Family is built on unity, trust and shared purpose. When we stand together-supporting one another and working toward-supporting one another and working toward a common mission-we strengthen our service to veterans, military members, and their families. Our collective efforts make a lasting impact in our communities and across our Department.

My goal this year is to encourage unity, open communication, and inspire participation at every level of our organization. By fully embracing the programs that are the foundation of the Legion Family, we can grow in membership, expand our outreach, and fulfill our mission with dedication and pride.
Thank you for all your unwavering commitment, dedication, your heart, and your service. I look to a powerful year of serving together- because united, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

🙌🏼

WE DID IT! 🎉

The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Oklahoma has officially reached 100% membership and is now 6th in the nation!

This milestone belongs to every member who recruited, renewed, encouraged, and inspired others to be part of our mission.

Membership is more than a statistic—it provides the people and resources needed to support veterans, active-duty military, and their families throughout Oklahoma and across our nation.

Thank you for your countless hours of service, your persistence, and your belief in what we do. This achievement is one we'll celebrate for years to come!

Congratulations, Oklahoma! ❤️🤍💙

The red poppy speaks where words fall short — a silent tribute to the sacrifices made for our freedom by the heroes who served and died for our country in all wars. ❤️‍🩹 The poppy is a reminder that their courage will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

After World War I, the American Legion Family brought National Poppy Day® to the United States by asking Congress to designate the Friday before Memorial Day as National Poppy Day.

The Auxiliary promotes the poppy as a symbol of the sacrifices our military have made, a symbol to open people’s hearts and inspire them to donate to help support the future of veterans, servicemembers, and their families. 🇺🇸

Today, on National Poppy Day, wear a red poppy to honor the fallen and support the living. ❤️
