OUVFD was dispatched to a residence yesterday morning to assist Promed Ambulance with a patient.
Units were kept in service as crews responded in their personal vehicles.
Please remember the county is still under a burn ban.

Crews were dispatched to a woods fire off of Ernie Young Rd near the old train tram last night. Huge thanks to the land owner who noticed the fire on his trail cam and notified authorities!
Thankfully crews were able to extinguish the rekindled fires with the use of rakes and water filled backpacks.
It truly takes a village and for ours we are extremely grateful!

Heavy smoke has been reported in the Old Union area. It is coming from the Lawson fire which is contained and is being monitored. Of course, if you see flames or are still concerned, please don’t hesitate to call 911.
And please, no burning as we are still under a burn ban.
