Hello Wingz of Hope supporters,

I’m excited about this new season and all that summer is bringing as we prepare to become more active in advancing our mission. God has entrusted me with this assignment, and I’m grateful for the season of stillness—but now it’s time to move forward.

We are now stepping into a major new goal: securing a permanent property for Wingz of Hope. This is a big and important step, and we cannot do it without your continued support.

We ask that you continue to pray with us as we seek God’s direction, open doors, and provision for both the property and the funding needed to make this vision a reality. If you are not currently praying with us, we invite you to join us now in agreement for favor, clarity, and divine opportunity.

Also, if you hear of any available properties or resources that may help us in this next phase, please share them with us.

We are hopeful, prayerful, and ready to work as we move forward to serve the women who need care, stability, and support.

Although today we celebrate mothers, adopted mothers, godmothers, and grandmothers, we must also remember the ones whose hearts feel this day differently.

There are grieving mothers.
There are women who deeply desired motherhood but were unable to experience it.
There are those grieving the loss of their mothers.
And there are people who grew up without a mother—not because she passed away, but because she was absent.

So today, while we highlight and honor mothers, let’s also be mindful, gentle, and loving toward the grieving mothers, the absent‑mothered, and the wishful mothers. Everyone’s heart deserves compassion today.

Grateful for What God Is Doing

I’m not sure how many of you remember the post I made about Wingz of Hope, but last Sunday I shared how God gave me a sermon that I had to preach to myself. It was about the two disciples walking back from Jerusalem after the resurrection—discouraged, confused, and disappointed because who they thought Jesus was didn’t match what they had planned. But Jesus met them right there on that road, in their discouragement, and opened their eyes to the truth of what had really happened.

That message has been carrying me. And today, I’m even more grateful because I received a phone call from my mentor that gave my heart and soul a fresh sigh. God knows exactly when to send strength.

I won’t share everything just yet, but I see Him moving things forward, and I’m thankful.
