Somerset Residents for Transparency Nonprofit community organization, nonpartisan/bipartisan, to provide a forum for residents of Somerset Township Washington County, PA.

Grassroot non-partisan citizens' group, for the residents of Somerset Township, Washington County PA. This nonprofit group was founded February 2024, with the intention of keeping our elected officials transparent to the people and taxpayers of our community. Together, we can maintain a wonderful place to live, while keeping our taxes low, running efficiently, and being financially stable, by keep

ing our elected leaders accountable for actions they take. We believe all residents have a voice and they should decide the future of our township.

Here we go with the security wall again!!!

Below is the agenda for tomorrow and the 2025 post when they brought this under New Business.

Cannot afford microphones so the audience of tax payers can hear what business is being discussed and voted on, but hey how about a security wall where no money is being held?!

Scared of accountability with video and audio recording public meetings, scared of taxpayers utilizing their taxpayer funded building, scared to answer questions taxpayers have.
Why so scared? Who is so scared?

Again we ask... why a security wall?

Attend your meetings!
You have a voice and the more voices that are heard the better.
If you care about the place we call home and care about where and how your money is being used and utilized, you have to speak up!!!
