What an incredible week at the beautiful Seabrook Island Club – Ocean Winds Course! Congratulations to all of our 2026 VGA South Carolina State Champions and Regional Qualifiers!

A huge thank you goes out to every player who competed. The camaraderie, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit on display are what make the Veterans Golf Association so special. Whether you hoisted a trophy or simply enjoyed a round with fellow veterans, you are what makes this organization great.

This year’s championship was truly historic as it became the largest State Championship in the entire South Region that sold out exclusively with ONLY it’s states members! That speaks volumes about the strength, growth, and passion of the VGA South Carolina family.

To all of our champions and qualifiers—represent South Carolina proudly at Regionals! We know you’ll continue to embody the VGA’s mission of fellowship, competition, and supporting one another long after the final putt drops.

Thank you to every veteran, family member, volunteer, and supporter who made this championship one to remember.

Today, 120 VGA South Carolina members have gathered on the coast to battle it out for more than just trophies and bragging rights… they’re competing for the opportunity to advance to Regionals! 💪🇺🇸

The stakes are high, the competition is fierce, and every putt, every drive, and every shot matters! 🏌️‍♂️📈⛳

And here in the Lowcountry, where history runs deep, it’s only fitting that another great battle is being fought. Charleston has long been a place where courage and determination are put to the test. Today, the battlefield is green, the weapons are clubs, and the mission is simple—play your best golf! 🇺🇸⛳🔥

With the State Championship just one day away, players are making their final preparations, dialing in their swings, and getting battle-ready for tomorrow’s showdown! 🏆💪

🎖️ Polish the clubs and tighten the straps,
Tomorrow we battle on fairways and traps.
Target the pin, stay steady and true,
Mission: low scores… and maybe a birdie or two! 🐦⛳

🎖️ No bugles are sounding, no cannons in sight,
Just Veterans competing from morning to night.
With drivers as weapons and putters in hand,
We march to the tee box across this great land! 🇺🇸🔥

Today is the tune-up…
