Rainbow RGV Community Partners Is a non- profit emergency center that distributes free items such as shoes, clothing and more to children who have been rescued by CPS.

The Rainbow Room is an emergency resource room set up in a store-like setting where CPS caseworkers can obtain needed items for clients of CPS. The Rainbow Room distributes new items such as shoes, clothing, formula, hygiene products and school supplies to children who have been rescued or removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse. The Rainbow Room was designed to provide these necessities to those children in need. Donations from the community keep the room stocked with needed items for the children. 100% of all donations go directly to the needs of the children and families served. The donations received from the community help replenish the room with needed items. In Region 11, 19 counties making up South Texas, the Rainbow Rooms serve an average of 100 children per month.

This memorial walk is a solemn reminder that love should never hurt, control, or take a life.

The Brides' March brings people together to remember and honor Gladys Ricart and countless victims lost to intimate partner violence. We walk to remember and raise awareness. We walk to stand with survivors and families whose lives have been forever changed by violence.

If you're experiencing domestic violence, please know you are not alone - reach out for help, because you deserve to feel safe, loved, and respected.

HEALTHY LOVE FEELS SAFE

💜 What does a healthy relationship look like?

Healthy relationships are built on respect, trust, communication, equality, boundaries, honesty, and freedom.

You should be able to spend time with friends and family.

You should be able to express an opinion.

You should be able to say no.

You should be able to pursue your education, career, interests, and dreams.

You should not have to live in fear of another person's reaction.

Love should never require fear, intimidation, or control.

Healthy love respects who you are.

Support the Edinburg Rainbow Room: Help Children in Need Across the RGV

Are you looking for a direct way to make a meaningful difference for children and families right here in the Rio Grande Valley?

The Edinburg Rainbow Room is an incredible local nonprofit that works hand-in-hand with Child Protective Services to provide emergency and essential items for children who have been abused, neglected, or separated from their homes. From clothing, diapers, and formula to school supplies and hygiene kits, they step in immediately to meet urgent needs when children enter foster care or emergency placement with little to nothing.

Because they rely entirely on community support and donations, every contribution stays local to protect and uplift vulnerable kids in our community.

How You Can Help

Donate Essential Items: We are currently collecting new, unwrapped items including diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, formula, children's socks and underwear (all sizes), hygiene products, and school backpacks.

Make a Financial Contribution: Monetary donations allow the Rainbow Room to purchase specific, urgent items tailored to a child's immediate needs.

Spread the Word: Share this post, talk about their mission with friends and family, or host a small donation drive at your workplace or church.

Ready to Donate?

If you would like to drop off items or make a donation, please reach out directly to Connie Vega our Rainbow Room Coordinator (956) 270-2284 or visit their donation drop-off location. Every little bit helps bring comfort and dignity to a child during a difficult time.

“Together, we can surround our local children with care, hope, and support when they need it most.”

Every item collected helps a child in need. Thank you for your generosity.

Every act of kindness makes a difference! 🌞

Because of your generosity - whether through your time, your financial support, or both - we're able to meet the unique needs of children in CPS custody when they need it most.

For example, your donation helped provide specialized infant formula for a premature baby with specific dietary needs. The cans of formula provided nourishment, comfort, and the chance for the baby to grow stronger.

These moments happen every day because people like you choose to care. Your compassion is making a real, tangible impact in the lives of children who deserve safety, hope, and a brighter future.
