Good way to get rid of those hard to recycle items properly.
RESIDENTS CAN DISPOSE OF HARD TO RECYCLE MATERIALS IN MCKEESPORT ON AUGUST 1
Allegheny County residents in need of disposing of electronics, tires, Styrofoam, and freon-containing devices can register to drop off materials on August 1, in the parking lot of McKeesport Area High School. This collection in McKeesport is part of the County’s ongoing Hard To Recycle program conducted in partnership with Pennsylvania Resources Council.
At this one-day Hard To Recycle collection event at McKeesport Area High School, individuals can drop off electronics, tires, Styrofoam, and freon-containing appliances.
Mon Valley area residents are eligible to receive a voucher for $60 worth of free recycling. Contact PRC for details.
Materials are recycled at a per-item fee. On-site payment is accepted via cash, check or card. Note: CPU (towers) and laptops are accepted at no cost.
