Today was a great day. Started out with breakfast with the girls. Then walked to the Bryan Square for the Williams county Relay for Life. Saw Betty Hein there and got to visit with her for a bit. That was nice. My Husband, Brittany and her 2 boys, Brandan and his 2 kids, Bradley, mother, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband, my aunt and her granddaughter, Thelma Truman, and Shelly Cook's sisters all came to support. We called my youngest daughter, Breanna, via video chat so she could be there too. I was named Survivor of the year and got to tell my story and start the walks around the court house. It was a beautiful day and enjoyed it. I left around 2pm as my feet were starting to hurt from all the walking. Now home with feet up and relaxing. Hope you all had a great day too. Prayers for all of you.

Had 2 interviews one for Bryan Times the other for The Village Reporter. About one week til Relay for Life. If you are in the area please join us in celebrating the survivors, the fighters, and the caregivers, and to remember those who lost their battles. Keep the prayers coming as there are many out there who need them.

I have done a lot this week. My body hurts. I found some muscles I haven't used in a while. Started deep cleaning my bedroom. Once I get that finished I will head into the diningroom.
I also painted 2 wine glasses and made more keychains. I never was one to paint things, however that seems to be what I do when I go to the classes at the Victory Center. I enjoy going and visiting with the others who go.Bryan time did their interview and I was on the front page of the Village Reporter.

Went to my appointments yesterday. Port draw was ok. White blood count is high and so was glucose. Talked to doctor. She asked about my glucose. Hubby and I went out to eat before appointments and like a dingbat I wasn't thinking and had fruit and pineapple chicken. She said that did it. So she cleared me for that. Then she talked about my white blood count. She said my body is fighting whatever it is that I caught. She said that with the nausea and diarrhea I may have caught a GI bug. If not better within a week we will have to run more tests. I am praying that this too will pass. Went from that to getting my infusions. Then home. Today deep cleaning bedroom and laundry. Til next time prayers for all. Oh yeah one of my favorite birds have made a home in my tree and my flowers are blooming. Thought I would also share a quote that I like.

Going to post this so you can see what we were doing. We take a film container and fill with 1/3paint, place 1/2 of alkaselser into the container, place cap on container and shake, place container upside-down on canvas and wait for the pop. It is messy but kids have fun with it.
