🏁 SRCR Race Report | Sunday Moose Valley 🏁

Sunday’s racing featured a technical and challenging Hare Scramble track that tested riders’ skill, endurance, and determination throughout the day. From the Mini Hare Scramble to the Novice and AM/EX classes, our riders pushed through tough conditions and delivered strong performances. 🏁 SRCR Race Report | Saturday Moose Valley 🏁

Saturday brought a full day of racing with riders competing across three events: P*ewee, Junior Sprint Enduro, and Vintage. Our riders took on a variety of challenges and put together some impressive performances across all classes. The Salmon River County Riders family would like to share an additional update regarding the services for our beloved club founder, Janet McCann.

Following the calling hours (10:00 AM–12:00 PM) and funeral service on Monday, July 20, Janet's family has graciously invited all SRCR members and friends to a lunch reception at the American Legion on Route 66 in Marlborough, immediately following the service. There will be a variety of hot and cold food available, and all are welcome to join the family in celebrating Janet's life.

As we continue to remember Janet, I wanted to share this photo from the 2026 Martins Hare Scramble. Looking back at it, I'm especially grateful she was able to attend one more race with Bob, watching not only her grandson race, but also her great-grandson. What a beautiful memory for the McCann family, and a reminder of just how much this club and this sport meant to Janet.

If you're able, I hope you'll join us on Monday to honor someone whose dedication, kindness, and countless hours of service helped build Salmon River County Riders into the club it is today. Janet's legacy will continue to live on through every member, every race, and every rider who calls SRCR home.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with the McCann family. ❤️

Sunday's racing wrapped up an exciting weekend at Sanborn as our Mini, Novice, and Amateur/Expert Hare Scramble racers lined up. From the youngest riders continuing to build experience to our seasoned competitors battling for top finishes, SRCR put together another impressive day of racing. 🏁 Saturday Race Report – NETRA Sanborn 🏁

Saturday at Sanborn brought a full day of racing as our Vintage, Junior Sprint Enduro, and P*e Wee riders took to the course. From experienced veterans to the next generation of racers, SRCR was well represented throughout the day with strong rides, hard-fought battles, and several podium finishes. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of Salmon River County Riders' founders, **Janet McCann**.

Without Janet's vision, dedication, and countless hours of hard work, there most likely would be no Salmon River County Riders. She helped build the club we all enjoy today, and her impact will continue to be felt for generations of riders. Many of Janet's family members remain active members of our club, making this loss especially close to all of us.

Calling hours will be held **Monday, July 20, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM**, with a **funeral service immediately following at 12:00 PM** at Spencer Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at a later date.

I would love to see our Salmon River County Riders family come together to support Janet's family during this difficult time, just as Janet would have shown up for every one of us. If you're able to attend, your presence would mean so much to her loved ones.

On behalf of Salmon River County Riders, we extend our deepest condolences to Janet's family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched. Her legacy will live on through this club and the community she helped create.

🏁 SRCR Race Report | Crazy Acres 🏁

Another great weekend for Salmon River County Riders at Crazy Acres! Our members competed across the Junior Sprint Enduro, Vintage Hare Scramble, and P*e-Wee Hare Scramble bringing home 5 class victories, multiple podium finishes, and countless great rides. Congratulations to everyone who represented the club this weekend!

Whether you found the podium or battled your way to the checkered flag, we’re proud of every rider who lined up representing SRCR. Thank you to all of the families, pit crews, and volunteers who continue to make our club what it is.
