Today, on National Peace Officers Memorial Day, the East Brunswick Police Department joins communities across the nation in honoring the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

We pause to remember the heroes who gave their lives protecting others and recognize the families, friends, and fellow officers who continue to carry their memory forward each day.

We also extend our gratitude to the dedicated men and women currently serving in law enforcement who answer the call day and night with courage, professionalism, and commitment to public safety.

Their sacrifice and service will never be forgotten.

Police Officer Dylan Owen was killed after his patrol vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree. Despite immediate lifesaving measures, Officer Owen died at the scene. RIP 🫡

Today marks the start of the 30th Anniversary of the Police Unity Tour, as riders begin a 4-day, 300-mile journey from New Jersey to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The Police Unity Tour brings law enforcement officers together from across the country to honor fallen officers, support their families, and raise awareness for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

The East Brunswick Police Department is proud of our riders and support team for their dedication, commitment, and the countless miles they ride in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Ride safe, Team East Brunswick. We’re cheering you on all the way to Washington.
