Hello East Bernard . . . we hope everyone is enjoying this cooler weather! Speaking of cooler weather, we hope you are also beginning to think about your creative RED, WHITE, BLUE (and of course, always feel free to throw in a splash of MAROON!) EB Christmas Parade Floats. We are about 5.5 weeks away from our annual parade, and we are hoping this one is the LARGEST ones yet.

Soooo if you have been thinking about entering in years past and just never took the leap, let this be your PUSH!!! Anyone can enter . . . you/your business do not have to be from East Bernard. Our parade is open to all who enjoying the spirit of Christmas!

We are currently working on an easier registration form and trying to expand our food truck locations and options . . . more to come.

Until then, pull out your trailers, atvs, etc., start dusting them off and find ways to display your Christmas spirit topped with American pride!

In hopes of drumming up more floats for the 2026 EB Christmas parade, we are announcing the theme now (no excuses … start planning! 😜)

The 2026 EB Christmas parade theme will be “Merry Christmas, America!!” This is to celebrate our country’s 250 years of greatness!

P.S.- Be sure hit up all those after 4th of July sales and collect your red, white & blue decor at a discounted price!!!

I’m going to try to keep this post as short, but sincere as possible.

I know it sounds cliché, but we cannot thank everyone enough for all the support of the East Bernard Christmas parade, particularly this year! Like any volunteer activity there’s lots of countless behind the scenes duties that go into making this parade happen. Then as a Parade Committee, we just hope and pray that everyone shows up for the 30-45 minutes of fun, feels the Christmas spirit & relishes in the pride we have for our community! 

AND that’s exactly what happened!!! So thank YOU East Bernard for being resilient and being a community that rallies!

Lastly and probabably the reason you have made it this far in my post …. We have our float and residential light winners!

Yall, this was a hard choice this year. We had over 30 floats entries (biggest parade yet to my knowledge) and 20 residential house nominees. (Actually, due to the drastic increase in participation for the residential house contest and the amount of blood sweat and tears that went into some of these decorations, we decided to hand out a 2nd and 3rd place prize because the competition was so great! 2nd place will receive a $50 cash reward and 3rd place will receive $25 cash reward). Sooooo the winners are:

Some last minute reminders before the parade tomorrow night!!!!!

1. See the attached picture for a final list of the parade participants and their corresponding staging #’s.

2. Please remember that Glory Bean, the EB Emporium & Traditions Chevrolet will have extended hours. Please take the time to stop in and shop these local businesses prior to the parade.

3. Lastly, here’s a shout out to all the family cooks!! Take the night off and bring the family to eat at the scruptious food trucks! They will be parked in the Community Fellowship/Savon Parking Lot.

We will have: Lil Bubba's Chicken - R2G , Bases Loaded Food Truck, Taqueria Martinez, C & A Concessions and Mary’s Sweet Shoppe to fill our bellies! They will be ready to serve around 5:30pm so come early, eat, shop and then hop on your float for the BIGGEST EAST BERNARD CHRISTMAS PARADE to date!
