🐾 Meet Huck! 🐾
If you’re looking for a dog with a BIG personality packed into a short-legged Basset body, Huck may be your guy! 😂💙
Huck is a 5-year-old Basset Hound who is goofy, affectionate, playful, and just the right amount of chaotic. He has a remarkable ability to turn an ordinary day into an adventure—and somehow make everyone around him laugh.
🏡 Housetrained
🛏️ Crate trained
👧 Good with kids
🐶 Good with other dogs
🐱 Good with cats
Huck absolutely loves his dog friends and enjoys wrestling, chasing, and generally having a GREAT time. He can be pretty vocal during playtime, but don't worry—his big voice is mostly reserved for those important wrestling matches. 😆
He does have a more dominant, rough-and-tumble play style with some male dogs, so he does best with dogs who appreciate a little enthusiastic Basset wrestling!
And after all that activity? Huck is more than happy to spend the rest of the day doing what Bassets do best: NAPPING. 💤
Huck is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people. He also adores his two sisters and has no concept whatsoever of personal space. If there's a cuddle pile happening, Huck intends to be in the middle of it. ❤️
He's silly. He's loving. He's playful. He's lazy. He's basically Basset-shaped chaos wrapped in a whole lot of love. 🥰
📍 Huck is currently being fostered near Indianapolis, Indiana.
If Huck sounds like the goofy, lovable guy you've been looking for, he is available for adoption! ❤️
