THANK YOU, DWIGHT!
A Heartfelt Thank You From the Dwight Harvest Days & Event Group
As we wrap up another Dwight Harvest Days, the Dwight Harvest Days & Event Group would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this year’s event possible.
An event of this size does not happen because of one person. It takes countless hours of planning, preparation, hard work, cooperation, and community support. We are deeply grateful to everyone who played a part.
A Special Thank You to Our Community Partners
We extend our sincere appreciation to Republic Services and Mortenson for their contributions and assistance in helping us prepare for and maintain our event.
We are also grateful to the Village of Dwight Administration for their assistance and to the Dwight Public Works Department for their work before preparing the downtown area, parade route and after the event, including assistance with benches, electrical service, and water. We would also like to recognize Public Works Director Cory Scholes and his crew for their assistance and support throughout.
A very special thank-you goes to the Dwight Police Department, Dwight EMS, and Dwight Fire Protection District for their additional staffing, preparation, presence, and commitment to keeping our community, visitors, volunteers, and participants safe throughout Dwight Harvest Days.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Chief Mike Nolan and his crew for their continued communication, assistance, and support throughout the planning and coordination of Dwight Harvest Days. Their dedication and cooperation were greatly appreciated.
We also thank Skinner’s Amusement Carnival for bringing the carnival to Dwight and for being such an important part of the celebration.
Thank you to Blackbird Common for allowing us to utilize their building, and to The Vault 1855 for providing a location for our baby-changing station and helping make the event more family-friendly. Thank you to New Life Assembly volunteers for doing the kids games.
Thank You to Our Vendors
To all of our food vendors, craft vendors, and other vendors—thank you for participating in Dwight Harvest Days and bringing your time, talents, products, and services to our community.
Your participation helps make the event special and gives visitors even more reasons to come together and enjoy Dwight.
