While we are delivered from all wrath in Christ, we are not, however, saved from God’s chastening. God’s chastening is a part of our relationship with the Lord and His eternal purpose for our lives. Wrath and curses are not.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 declares we are “to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come .” At the appearing of Jesus and His kingdom, God’s wrath will come again on the earth and the disobedient and unbelieving will not be disciplined or corrected; they will be punished with the lawless one (Satan) and will perish (2 Thess.2:10).

We must take ownership and accountability for our choices and actions. The earlier we discover these truths, the more functional and successful we will be in life, ultimately affording us the beauty of happiness.

There is nowhere we go that is without authority, boundaries, and consequences.
