St. Joseph County Grange Fair Parade

Michigan State Grange Members joined in the St. Joseph County Grange Fair parade to help celebrate their 175th Anniversary. A display booth was also set up for the week for fair goers to see the Granges in St. Joseph County, past and present.

Special thanks to Jackie Bishop, Gail Miller and MaryBeth Bower for putting the display booth together. Maryann Rocco and Alayna Nail for designing and creating the beautiful signs. And to the Bower family for assisting us for the parade. Much appreciation!

Attention: Those that are attending the St. Joseph County Grange Fair on Saturday for the parade:

I have 8 passes unspoken for yet. Let me know if you are attending.

For those who need the passes - meet us at the Dollar General/Yoder Country Market parking lot from 10:00 to 10:45 to pick up the passes. If you can't make that time, give me a call.

Need to be there by 11:30, but please try to be there earlier as it being a Saturday, it will be busy.

The red circle is where you will meet us for the passes, the green circle is Barn #14 where we will be lining up for the parade.

Community Grange’s Annual Fall Sale!

CALLING ALL GRANGE MEMBERS!!!

Help us support the St. Joseph County Grange Fair as they celebrate 175 years. We have been invited to join in their parade.

Come ride/walk in the parade at noon on September 26th.

We will have fair passes for the first 20 participants, so let Connie know if you are planning to attend and she will see about getting more if needed. Let's show up to celebrate!

Also be sure to check out the booths Jackie Bishop and Marybeth Bower are setting up to showcase Michigan State Grange and the St. Joseph/Cass/Kalamazoo Pomona Grange.

More information to come as far as the details of where to meet up, etc.

Many of our Granges would qualify just from doing their various annual projects! Submit your application today!

Every Tuesday throughout August, we are highlighting one of our Contests or Programs, with deadlines soon approaching.

The Distinguished Grange Program encourages Granges to "step up" by completing certain projects throughout the year - from July through June. Applications are due by September 1, so there's still time to check out the application to see if you qualify!
If you've looked in previous years, look again - this year's application has broadened many sections, added new ways to earn points, and hopefully made it easier for EVERY Grange to be a DISTINGUISHED Grange.
