🎣 A NEW FISHING PLATFORM & RIVERWALK IS COMING TO BYRON! 🎣

The Village of Byron DDA is excited to announce that construction has finally begun on Byron’s NEW Fishing Platform & Riverwalk!

A special welcome - and THANK YOU - to our contractor, Shawn White and Deck Expressions, as they bring this exciting community project to life!

To meet the environmental timeline protecting the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake, we have to work through the winter to complete the project before April 2027.

💜💛 We need your help to cross the finish line! 💛💜

If you’re able, please consider contributing toward this project. Every contribution, big or small, matters!

Be part of this project and help create a new, safe place for families, anglers, and visitors to enjoy our biggest natural asset in Byron, the Shiawassee River!

To make a donation online, please use the link in this post!

If you prefer, please drop a check or cash at the Municipal Building in Byron (located at 146 S. Saginaw Street, Byron, MI 48418) and include a note that your contribution is for the DDA Fishing Platform!

Let’s come together - again - for our community! For Byron! 🦅
