Join us tomorrow for our weekly work night! We are all planted in, but we could use help on projects around the farm, including weeding, watering, mulching, and general clean up.

As always, current gardeners are encouraged to attend with any questions or if they need help with their beds. Hope to see you!

From Grow Pittsburgh: Did you know SNAP benefits can be used to purchase seeds and seedlings?

Also, for every $5 spent on of seeds and seedlings through Grow Pittsburgh using SNAP, they are offering a $2 coupon that can be used at their farm stands and at the East End Food Co-op on fresh fruits and vegetables.

Thank you to the gardeners who came out last night to help finish planting the farm! We are excited for the growing season and are so grateful for the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.

Your weekly reminder that we will be at the garden tomorrow from 5:30-8:30 for our weekly work night! On the agenda: more planting! We have additional varieties of peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, and zucchini ready to put into the ground.

Thank you to everyone who came out last night for our very productive work night! We set up the farm beds for the season and planted tomatoes, onions, several varieties of peppers, eggplant, kale, and collards. This is only round 1 of planting, as we are in the process of acquiring additional seedlings and varieties. We will update the page as we continue to grow the farm!

We are very excited for this season and so appreciative of the great group of gardeners who came together to make this happen.

Free bingo tomorrow! Come join us!

Just a reminder that free Garden Bingo is this coming Sunday from 2-3:30 at the Presbyterian Church in Duquesne.

There will be free food, along with prizes for the winners! Enter the 50/50 and the basket raffle, and don’t forget to bring a dessert to share. See you Sunday!
