Today was pie day!! These lucky 13 kids were so excited to pie Pastor Sean today before the celebration.

We had 64 kids sign up for VBS and averaged over 50 kids every night. The week would not have been possible without our ...

We had 64 kids sign up for VBS and averaged over 50 kids every night. The week would not have been possible without our 30+ volunteers. We raised enough money for at least 2 beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace-which means we raised enough that Pastor Sean will be taking 12 pies to the face on Sunday—one pie for every $50 raised! Join us tomorrow after our 10:30AM worship service for hot dogs, slushies, and bounce houses at out VBS celebration!

During the week of VBS, the kids have been asked to bring in monetary donations to support the wonderful outreach efforts of the Monroe County Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (shpbeds.org). This non-profit works to provide beds for kids ages 3-17. Currently, 224 beds are needed in our area alone. Their motto is simply- NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!® For each $50 raised by the kids during the week, they will earn a pie to be thrown in the face of Pastor Sean at the
celebration on the 26th. Names will be drawn at random from the kids that attend the celebration to see who gets the honors of throwing a pie.

So far we've raised $200 which is 4 pies!
