As a Community Health Coordinator for Myers Wilkins Elementary School in Duluth, Sadie connects with parents who are doing everything they can to provide for their children—but still struggle to put enough food on the table.

Through a partnership with Second Harvest Northland's School Pantry Program, families at Myers Wilkins can access the food they need—not just during the school year, but in the summer months as well.

They are looking for a couple steady volunteers that want to help with Garden Lessons, once a week in the more morningish hours (flexible, can work with the right ppl). This would be giving lessons to little kindergartners aside their Myers Wilkins Elementary School Community Health Coordinator.

A sneak peek of the second annual Honor the Youth Powwow that took place at Lincoln Park Middle School this past Saturday! The event was a huge success and we once again just want to thank the dancers, drummers, artists, volunteers, and community members who came together to make this such a special event. This is one of our favorite events we help facilitate every year and none of it would be possible without the support of our community.

Our Health Fair at Myers-Wilkins Elementary School last Thursday was a huge success! We had 300 people in attendance along with numerous local community partners in attendance! We were able to have some fun as well as focus on health and wellness. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up as well as our staff and volunteers who worked hard to make this event a success!

Yesterday a group of our students from Myers-Wilkins Elementary School got to head down to City Hall! They got to see the council chambers, share ideas about how to make Duluth a better place, and even meet Mayor Reinert. What a great opportunity for our young people!

Last night Denfeld's DASHboard presented at the Duluth School Board meeting on their idea utilizing Mentors to bolster and support Student Attendance. We are so proud of our students!!
