CPF is dedicated to assisting Veterans enjoy the outdoors! Via backcountry trips, that include horses in the summer, and snowmobiling in the winter.

Marine LCpl Chance R. Phelps was KIA in Iraq on 9 April 2004. He was the inspiration for this organization. Our family created this organization as a way to heal ourselves and to heal the wounds of war. Since our family could not welcome Chance home the way we had envisioned, this was an opportunity for us to welcome home our military members and their families. We have 4 Outdoor Programs:
Ranch W

eek
Hunting
Fishing
Snowmobiling
These were all activities our son loved to do, so this is what we offer our military, in hopes that through these programs they find peace, solace, and a renewed sense of being for themselves and their families. Our motto is "Building a Foundation for a better life."
