A Statement from Protagonist Books & Coffee and Dryden Center for Community:

We recognize that the upcoming event S*x Trivia has caused concern within the community. We want to address these concerns by stating that the event will still occur at the Dryden Center for Community (DCC). We support the event’s educational mission to provide a fun, supportive and safe environment for people to test their knowledge and learn together.

This aligns with the mission of DCC of diversity, inclusion and education by supporting this form of education and community building. The DCC supports Dryden small businesses as a gathering space for larger events and welcomes this event.

We are excited to kick off Pride Month together and encourage those interested in partaking in trivia to attend. But also, please check out all the other events that Dryden Center for Community is hosting as they are covering a broad range of interests and opportunities.

As we wrap up the year, the DCC still doesn't have a closing date, but we have word that the judge will be looking at the necessary paperwork the first week of January. We can't wait to get in there and start programming! We'll keep you updated as we learn more! As always, looking forward to seeing you at the DCC!
