Happy Monday! We have a lot of fun things happening at the Dryden Center for Community this week: Yoga with Brian on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm, Chair Yoga and Dance Movement Therapy with Lisa on Wednesday at 10:45 and 11:40, Tai Ji with Cliff on Wednesday at 7pm, our NEW ukulele & acoustic string collective on Thursday at 6pm with Big Mama, Sound Journey & Meditation with Bonny on Friday at 7pm, and a violin/viola recital on Saturday at 1pm. Tomorrow, after you drop off your kiddo or other loved ones to get lined up for the Dairy Day parade, stop in at the DCC for coffee, snacks and conversation. We'll be here from 8-9:30.

TONIGHT doors open at 6:30, bands are starting at 7pm. Wise Bones, Nancy Babich, How's the Soup, and Tochi Ezidiegwu will be entertaining us with alt rock, post-punk, and indy pop! There will be snacks inside and an ice cream truck outside! $10 is the suggested cover charge, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. A portion of the proceeds will go to the performers and a portion will go to support the DCC so we can continue bringing these fun all-ages shows to Dryden!

Wondering if Tai Chi is for you? Looking for a place to practice closer to Dryden? Check out annie's FREE Community Tai Chi Class this afternoon at 5:30 in the Community Room at the DCC! This will be offered on the 2nd Thursday of every month. (And if you are interested in a weekly class, we have one of those, too! Cliff teaches every Wednesday at 7pm. There is a suggested donation for the weekly class.)

Lisa Gayle will be leading a weekly 50-minute chair yoga class designed for seniors. You will be stretching joints and muscles in and with the support of a chair. Classes will be Wednesdays at 10:30am in the Yoga Room, starting on June 10. There is a $10 suggested donation per class.

Happy Monday! Make a plan to check out something at the DCC this week! Starting this week, Chair Yoga at 10:30am on Wednesday followed by Dance Movement Therapy at 11:45am. Fridays @ The Center is welcoming 4 bands on Friday at 7pm. Yoga with Brian on Tuesday at 7pm (note: no Yoga on Thursday or Sunday this week) and various classes with Tim of Black Mongoose Martial Arts. Saturday we'll be open from 8-9:30 before the Dairy Day parade. Sunday there is a Lantern Making Workshop. Details and registration at our website:

This Sunday, June 7, come celebrate Pride Month with a potluck and brainstorming session for the Queermunity Room. Bring a dish to share and your ideas! Let's get together, celebrate and set the stage for a year of inclusive, fun events. We will be meeting in the Community Room from 12-4pm.

As we wrap up the year, the DCC still doesn't have a closing date, but we have word that the judge will be looking at the necessary paperwork the first week of January. We can't wait to get in there and start programming! We'll keep you updated as we learn more! As always, looking forward to seeing you at the DCC!
