What a great day for learning, connection, and representing our local association! 🌟

Members of the Douglas-Coffee County Board of REALTORS® were proud to attend the Georgia Association of REALTORS® Region 11 REALTOR® Roadshow in Moultrie today! 🚗💼

As a local board, opportunities like this are invaluable. The REALTOR® Roadshow brings GAR directly to our region—making it convenient for our members to access 3 hours of FREE continuing education 📚 while staying up to date on important industry topics that impact our communities right here at home.

We were honored to hear from GAR leadership and be part of meaningful conversations centered around collaboration 🤝—and how strong partnerships between REALTORS®, community leaders, and decision-makers help support local growth, protect consumers, and expand housing opportunities across our area.

In recognition of Fair Housing Month, today’s discussions also reinforced the importance of fairness, professionalism, and ethical responsibility in everything we do 🏡✨—values that remain at the core of our work as REALTORS® and as an association serving our community.

Beyond the education, it was a great day of networking, sharing ideas, and connecting with fellow REALTORS® from across our region 📸🥗

We’re proud to continue investing in our members so they can better serve Douglas-Coffee County and the surrounding communities every day. 💙

We had a fantastic turnout for the Douglas-Coffee County Board of REALTORS® April Membership Meeting! 🎉👏

Mayor Tony Paulk joined us to share valuable updates on housing development in the City of Douglas and how our community is working to address the housing shortage as Coffee County continues to grow. 🏡📊🌱

We would like to extend a special thank you to Mayor Tony Paulk for taking the time out of his busy schedule to speak with our members—we truly appreciate your insight and leadership! 🙌

Board President Debra Gillis also presented on Fair Housing, including an introduction to NAR’s Fairhaven 2.0. This interactive online simulation allows real estate professionals to step into real-world scenarios, exploring important topics like steering bias, disability accommodations, and advocating for clients facing discrimination. It’s an engaging (and free!) resource for all NAR members to help ensure we uphold both the law and the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. 🎓⚖️💼

A big thank you to the Douglas Golf & Country Club for the beautiful venue and delicious food 🍽️⛳, and to all of our members who attended and made this event such a success! 🤝✨

We are proud to celebrate a huge accomplishment for the Douglas-Coffee County Board of REALTORS®!

Our association has been honored by the National Association of REALTORS® with not one—but two—prestigious awards: the President’s Cup and the Triple Crown Award.

These recognitions reflect the dedication, engagement, and commitment of our members. From exceeding RPAC goals to actively supporting REALTOR® advocacy efforts, this achievement truly represents the strength of our entire board.

To our members—thank you. Your continued involvement, hard work, and passion are what make accomplishments like this possible. We are grateful for each and every one of you.

We had a wonderful turnout yesterday at the Douglas-Coffee County Board of REALTORS® March Membership Meeting!

Our speaker, Muamer Music, Industry Relations Representative for Georgia MLS, shared the latest market statistics for Coffee County and surrounding areas. He reviewed key data and trends from the past few years and provided a helpful overview of Georgia MLS products and services available to support your business. Thank you so much, Muamer, for traveling down and sharing your expertise with us!

We are also proud to announce that the Douglas-Coffee County Board of REALTORS® has earned two National Association of REALTORS® awards: the President’s Cup and the Triple Crown Award.

Associations earning the Triple Crown met or exceeded their RPAC goals, demonstrating strong engagement and commitment to the REALTOR® Party. President’s Cup recipients not only met those benchmarks but also showed leadership in REALTOR® advocacy through initiatives such as voter registration, Get-Out-The-Vote efforts, and grassroots and grasstops engagement.

We would like to thank all of our members for their hard work and dedication in helping us achieve these honors. We truly could not do it without each of you.

A special thank you to everyone who attended yesterday, and to Tio’s Table in Douglas for the wonderful venue and catering—it was fantastic!

Last night, we had the honor of witnessing such a special moment as President Debra Gillis officially swore in our new President-Elect, Jafet Gutierrez. 🤍✨

We are incredibly grateful for Jafet’s willingness to step into this important role as he prepares to serve as Board President in the upcoming term. His leadership, dedication, and heart for this association do not go unnoticed.

Since joining our board, Jafet has become a vital part of our meetings, events, and community outreach efforts. He consistently goes above and beyond to support others — not just within our association, but throughout our community. He is genuine, driven, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

We are so proud to have him stepping into this next chapter of leadership. Please join us in congratulating President-Elect Jafet Gutierrez! 👏🎉
