American Legion Post 515 50/50 Raffle Update

Good evening.

Bobby Paulk is the 50/50 Raffle Ticket winner. He received $1,684.00. Mr. John Sutton, the Assistant Manager at Harvey's West drew the winning ticket. Henry Martin, Ed Dusi and I observed the drawing. Bobby has already picked up his check.

Thank you to all of you who supported this fundraiser. We will have another soon.

American Legion Post 515 Announced its Back to School Supplies Give Away and More.

American Legion Post 515 Partner's with Douglas City Commissioner Durham, Coffee County Sheriff's Department, Mike Bazell and Ambitious Young Man (AYM), Mr. Keyshun Holmes and Rich Royal Inc., for the 2022 Black To School Book Bag Give Away BASH and Prep Rally.

There will be FREE BOOK BAGS, School Supplies, Girls Sandals and other items of clothing.

The Guest Speaker will be Dr. James Banks, Retired Asst. Superintendent, Coffee County, GA School System.

There will be breakout sessions by Ambitious Young Men & Fly Girls Mentoring Groups.

This event will be held at the George Washington Carver, Freshman Campus GYM Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

Supplies will be given on a first come first served basis. Come out for school supplies, entertainment and more.

We hope to see you there.
