Over the past three days, the Dolton Fire Department had the opportunity to train alongside Bud’s Ambulance with hands-on rescue scenarios involving suspension trauma and crush injuries.

Training together strengthens teamwork, improves communication, and ensures we are prepared to provide the highest level of care when our residents need us most. We appreciate the partnership with Bud’s Ambulance and look forward to continuing to build our skills together to better serve our community.

🎉 Happy 46th Birthday to Senior Engineer ILL!🎉

Today, Dolton Professional Firefighters Local 3766 would like to wish Senior Engineer ILL a very happy 46th birthday!

ILL was raised in Dolton, started as a POC, worked his way to. Full time and a proud second-generation firefighter, Engineer ILL continues a family legacy of service. His father dedicated an incredible 40 years to serving the Village, and Engineer ILL has carried that same commitment forward every day.

There isn’t a single shift that goes by where Engineer ILL doesn’t put others before himself. Whether it’s fixing equipment, lending a hand, making sure the station runs smoothly, or cooking a meal for the crew, he’s always the first to step up and the last to seek recognition.

His work ethic, selflessness, and dedication to both the department and the community never go unnoticed. We are grateful to serve alongside someone who truly embodies what the fire service is all about.
