TONIGHT March 19, 2026:

GARDEN FAIR!
The Dillon Public Library is hosting their first annual “Garden Fair – Let’s Get Growing” on Thursday, March 19, 6:30pm in the library. Let us help you start planning and planting for the summer ahead. The Seed Library is ready, so come and check-out what’s available this year. You will find the seed library stocked with a variety of heirloom vegetable and flower seeds.

Local gardeners will be on site to share their expertise. Are you new to gardening? Come and learn what grows best in our area. Live in an apartment? Come and learn how you can grow vegetables as well as flowers in containers on your patio or balcony. New this year in the seed library are vegetables specifically for growing in containers. Are you an experienced gardener looking to try something different this year? Come visit with other gardeners and share ideas. Topics for this event include: square-foot gardening, container gardening, gardening tricks and tips, hands on activities for kids, how to identify and fight garden pests, seed snails, composting, utilizing recyclables and how to use the seed library.

Beaverhead County's largest pumpkin will be showcased at the Dillon Garden Club's Annual Craft Fair on October 11th, from 9am to 2pm at the National Guard Armory. “Brutus” and friend 🎃
will be on display and their final weights will be revealed. Feel free to comment below with your guess of his weight. 👇🏼

Want to learn how to grow beautiful dahlias? Join us Monday, March 24, 6 pm in the upstairs meeting room at the Bank of Commerce. Bill Grandberry of Anaconda will share his knowledge (See writeup in the photos. The presentation will be followed by a short business meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend!
