The Dighton Parent Teacher Organization is a nonprofit, volunteer parent/teacher organization whose membership includes all parents, guardians and staff at the

Dighton Elementary and Dighton Middle Schools. The mission of the PTO is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of both Dighton Elementary School (Grades Pre-K-4) and Dighton Middle School (Grades 5-8).

The goals of the PTO are to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, guardians, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow. The PTO provides financial assistance to teachers in their classroom settings, holds fundraisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences, and supports school and family social interaction.

Today we spent sometime at DES sprucing up the old butterfly garden and main entrance. A big thanks to my right hand lady Ainsley for toughening out the heat and humidity to get it done now for a little much. Also big thanks to Under the Sun for last minute impatiens they added a nice pop of color.
