Tickets Now On Sale for Disney's Alice in Wonderland JR. at Diamondhead School of Fine Arts

DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. — The Diamondhead School of Fine Arts (DSFA) is excited to announce that tickets are officially on sale for its summer production of Disney's Alice in Wonderland JR., a whimsical musical adventure featuring a cast of talented young performers from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Performances will take place at the Randolph Center for the Performing Arts in Pass Christian on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 7:00 PM, and Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM.

Based on Disney's beloved animated film and the classic novels by Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland JR. follows Alice as she encounters the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, and a host of unforgettable characters on her curious adventure through Wonderland.

Directed by Andie Rennie, this family-friendly production brings together young actors, singers, and dancers from throughout the Gulf Coast region for a magical theatrical experience filled with colorful characters, memorable songs, and imaginative storytelling.

"This production has brought together students, families, volunteers, and educators from throughout our community," said Sarah Shelton, Founder and Executive Director of the Diamondhead School of Fine Arts. "We are thrilled to see these young performers bring this timeless story to life while showcasing the creativity, confidence, and teamwork that the arts help develop."

The production has already generated tremendous excitement, with more than $1,000 in ticket sales recorded within the first 24 hours of tickets becoming available.

Tickets start at $15 and are available now at DSFAglobal.org. Community members are encouraged to purchase tickets early, as attendance is expected to be strong.

The Diamondhead School of Fine Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality arts education, performance opportunities, and cultural experiences for students and families throughout the Gulf Coast. Since opening in 2021, DSFA has served thousands of students and community members through its programs in dance, music, theatre, art, language, and health and wellness.

🎨🧡 Our Clay Class is rolling right along!

This week, our talented students explored new hand-building techniques by creating cylinders and beautiful spoon rests. It has been wonderful watching their confidence grow as they learn the art of working with clay and bring their creative ideas to life.

A huge thank you to Peggy for being such an incredible clay instructor. Her patience, knowledge, and encouragement make every class a special experience for our students. We are so grateful to have her sharing her talent with our community!

The current session has been a fantastic success, and we are excited to announce that our next clay class series will be coming soon. Classes will once again be held on Monday afternoons, so keep an eye on our page for registration details and announcements.

At DSFA, we love providing opportunities for students to learn, create, and discover new artistic skills—and clay class continues to be one of our favorites! 🏺✨

📚🐇 Down the Rabbit Hole is Off to a Wonderful Start! 🐇📚

Our cost-free summer reading program, Down the Rabbit Hole, is already making a big impact! Under the instruction of Christina Oats, students are reading three chapters each week while participating in engaging classroom activities, discussions, and comprehension exercises that bring the story to life.

We are thrilled to keep students learning, growing, and developing a love of reading throughout the summer. As an extra special reward, each student who completes the program will receive a free ticket to attend DSFA’s production of Alice in Wonderland, allowing them to see the story they’ve been studying come alive on stage!

This program is a wonderful example of multiple DSFA departments working together to create meaningful educational experiences for our students. From literacy to theatre, we are proud to provide opportunities that encourage creativity, imagination, and lifelong learning.

Students will explore the foundational elements of art while perfecting original techniques through hands-on projects and creative exploration. This course is designed to strengthen artistic skills, build confidence, and encourage self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.

For five years, every Monday night, dancers from across the Gulf Coast have gathered at DSFA to move, learn, laugh, and grow together.

Whether you danced for years or have never stepped into a ballet class before, Adult Ballet at DSFA is a welcoming, feminine, and supportive space where everyone can feel comfortable exploring the beauty of dance.

There are no competitions, no pressure, and no expectations—just a wonderful group of adults who show up each week to do something for themselves.
