Saturday, September 12th, we are hosting our annual Club Members Appreciation Local Ride & Cookout to thank our members for their support throughout the year.

We will be meeting at the Old Dexter Shoe parking lot (Factory One) on Water Street in Dexter. The lineup is at 7:30 am and we will be leaving at 8:00 am. Trail Master Rich will be leading us around the local trails, he has planned for a break at the Exeter Country Store, then possibly a ride that will get us in the mood for an upcoming holiday in October, then through our new reroute, and onto the Jim Thomas Picnic Area for lunch. There will be a 50/50 raffle, and proceeds go to Dexter's Christmas for Kids Program.

Our Vice President & Treasurer will be at our picnic cooking hot dogs & hamburgers, with chips and water.

If you are a non-member wanting to join us on the ride and barbeque, we ask you to make a donation to our Christmas for Kids fund.

Information from the Somerset RidgeRunners ATV Club

For the next week/10 days the short trail that cuts through the Harmony Fair grounds will be closed to ATV traffic due to the Harmony Free Fair. Please follow the arrows up the road to the store parking area. The Park & Ride is still open. Just go back out to the road and not through the fairgrounds if heading towards Devil's Head/St. Albans direction.

Our Club left from Dexter this morning, heading for Harmony then onto St. Albans, with 12 machines, 23 people, and one dog. It started off chilly but warmed up as the day went on. Yes, you may ask, the trails were dusty, but we managed through it.
We made a stop at the Cookie Jar of Maine and folks; it is worth the ride to get one or more of her cookies! So many delicious varieties to fill that sweet tooth urge. Personally, we bought three to take home, and one more to share while waiting for the gang! Delish!!!
Back on the road, heading to Devil's Head with viewing some early Halloween decorations! Trail Master Rich cooked hot dogs on the grill, someone brought a pasta salad (thank you) and we had our 50/50 raffle drawing. Congratulations to our youngest rider, Derek, who won $33.00. A big thank you to Derek for donating back to our Christmas for Kids fund, making $45.00 raised today.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in the ride, the dust, the food, and the laughs!

Good morning!
Our Vice President & Treasurer will be set up at the entrance to the Rail Trail in Newport, almost across from the park and ride this morning. They will be there from 7:30 am to 10:30 am.
Have you noticed the sweet prizes we have this season?
Here's your chance to get in on the action and buy your ticket/s. They will also have our Christmas for Kids donation canister.

They're selling raffle tickets and they have a canister for donations toward Dexter's Christmas for Kids Program.

This Saturday, August 29th, we are riding to Devil's Head.
We will be meeting at the park & ride at the Old Dexter Shoe parking lot. Line up starts at 7:30 am and we will be leaving at 8:00 am. Before we get to Devil's Head, we will be stopping at the
Cookie Jar of Maine in Harmony, so make sure to bring cash.
Trail Master Rich will be cooking hot dogs on the grill for everyone. We will also be having chips and water.
We will be having a 50/50 raffle to benefit Dexter's Christmas for Kids Program.
